The singer gushed about the opportunity to meet with world renowned figures, which spurred her to declare her support for President Buhari.
The singer, who recently got a bit of action in respect to how Nigeria’s top public servants organise themselves took to Instagram on Monday, August 29, 2016, to pledge her support for the Nigerian government.

She wrote, “My eyes opened today, from the meeting with the vice president to the press conference points down to one thing, we can be part of the change by involving ourselves a little more and be responsible for the things that happen in our own backyard #makenaijastronger #povertissexist.”
Apart from her admiration for Buhari’s change policies, Waje was also excited about getting to interact with Irish musician, Bono, as well as Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote.
Waje expressed this in another Instagram comment where she posted a picture of herself with Bono and Dangote saying, “In the midst of greatness #makenaijastronger”.
The pair had just concluded a visit to a camp where 2.3 million displaced people were receiving shelter.
